Sales is the highest paying job... so I am told! Some are very good at it, while others are not. It is my opinion that whatever you are selling must be something you have a passion for. If you do not believe in the product, then neither will your potential customer!
Right now I am an independent contractor with Travelers Motor Club. I really like our product. It is fun to talk about and I am having a blast. Diligence Pays Off!
Whether seeking to make a living, or just to make a little supplemental income, diligence is the key to longevity. Persistence does pay off! The adage of "easy come, easy go" certainly applies here. The internet is full of those "get rich overnight" schemes, but diligently working hard at whatever you do will bring about a level of satisfaction this is unmatched otherwise.
We look at other people who seem to be making money with little or no effort. What are we using to come to that conclusion? Is it the fact that they have a lot of "things"? Is it because they have a big house? I have learned a long time ago that the bank owns more than most wealthy people do. We cannot assess our position in life based upon another persons wealth.
Most people who have made a good living, however you describe that term, has had to put a lot of work into it. It may not be physical labor like is used in a farmers life, but it is still work! Long hours in the office, or making sales calls, is exhausting. It is hard work. Diligence is the key! When we keep going, there will be profit in many forms!
So keep this in mind. If you are thinking about changing your job, or seeking to make more money, then remember that you are going to have to be diligent in that pursuit. Eventually it will pay off!

I am aware that the term "hard work" is relative to who uses it. However, I am also keenly aware that HARD WORK is Biblical. Consider:
Standing around and speculating never gets the money in your pocket... unless people value what you have to say and are willing to compensate you for your pearls of wisdom. Let's face it, the average person is going to have to pursue a venue that involves more than just words! It is going to have to involve work!
