Rake Leaves - Basic Job Idea #1

This idea is something for anyone. If you live in a residential area, then you have a perfect opportunity to rake leaves.

Age: Anyone that can use a rake. (Not advocating violating child labor laws)

Opportunity: Seasonal

Niche: Many people do not want to get leaves up. They will hire someone to: rake, blow, vacuum, burn, dispose of them, etc.

Revenue Possibilities: From $20.00 and up! Per job. You can earn as much or as little as you want during the season.

Competition: Many people already have a landscaper, but that does not mean everybody does. Most people, who mow their yard, thoroughly despise the Fall of the year when it is time to deal with leaves. You must capitalize on this!

Suggestion: If you have lazy teenagers, then have them earn some extra money by helping your neighbors. Growing up in North Carolina, this was commonplace. Anymore, I see very few young people doing this. It may not pay like another job, but it sure makes you feel good when that gratified neighbor passes over that $50.00 bill!

If you just want to supplement your income a little, then line up some jobs and rent a blower from a equipment rental. Get to work!

Testimony: Personally, I have made hundreds of dollars, as a teenager, after school/weekends/holidays doing this kind of work. I had the benefit of a pickup to haul(for those who wanted to haul them away), and a blower. This made it easier! It can be done and you feel better doing it! I enjoyed the thought that I was helping my neighbors... especially the elderly ones who could not do this themselves and were glad to pay me to do it for them!

Remember... Give me your feed back

Warning: As always, I recommend that you do not violate any laws of any kind to earn this money!
